Massive Infrastructure Push for a Better City

Gurugram is set to witness a major urban transformation with a proposed ₹1,971 crore development plan aimed at improving mobility, reducing congestion, and enhancing public infrastructure. The initiative is expected to address some of the city’s most pressing challenges related to traffic management and environmental concerns.

Focus on Reducing Traffic Congestion

A significant portion of the plan is expected to be directed toward improving road networks, junctions, and traffic monitoring systems. Authorities aim to streamline vehicle movement across key routes, helping commuters spend less time stuck in traffic and making daily travel more efficient.

Thousands of New Cameras to Strengthen Monitoring

As part of the modernization drive, around 2,722 new surveillance cameras are proposed to be installed across the city. These cameras will assist in traffic regulation, improve road safety, monitor violations, and support law enforcement agencies in managing urban movement more effectively.

Cleaner Air and Smarter Urban Management

The mega plan also focuses on measures designed to curb pollution and promote sustainable urban development. Improved traffic flow, better monitoring, and upgraded civic infrastructure are expected to contribute to cleaner air and a higher quality of life for residents in the coming years.
